Artemide Empatia Wall-Ceiling Light

Designed by Carlotta De Bevilacqua and Paola Di Arianello for Artemide, Empatia Wall-Ceiling Light is part of Empatia collection of Table Lights, Floor Lights, Wall-Ceiling Lights and Suspension Lights. Empatia fuses the famous Italian glass blowing tradition with the very latest LED technology from Artemide. Careful study of its potential resulted in collaboration with master glass blowers to exploit the unique characteristics of Venetian glass, and to work on the balance between surface and light, between subtle densities and transparencies. The result; pure craft objects, each unique in all respects. Transparency and opacity are carefully blended to obtain a glass that reflects light, without glare and without losing efficiency. The optical device, a high-performance LED based light engine, was created to provide higher thermal efficiency and performance.
