Marset Bohemia Suspension Light

Designed by Joan Gasper for Marset, Bohemia is a superbly elegant contemporary design. At first glance it appears to be made of blown glass, but its size makes that impossible! Joan Gasper overcame this difficult technical challenge by opting for polycarbonate instead. The result is an exciting, organic and translucent profile that integrates two volumes into a single shape. This allows for a large shade in different colours, but always with a white interior, giving of impeccable lighting with no colour bleed. When it’s on, Bohemia shines a white light downward, while also enhancing the shade with subtle hues and shadows. This interplay between shadow and light defines the two volumes. Bohemia is bright and striking, with an exceptional light that aims to surprise. Bohemia is available in three versions; Bohemia 84 E27 (takes a standard screw-in LED bulb) Bohemia 84 LED Triac (phase-cut dimming) and Bohemia 84 LED DALI (DALI dimming), and three colours; Amber, Violet and Green.
